Summer tutoring

Grouped by grade level, students will meet twice per week for three weeks to review math or reading concepts from previous grade levels. Our tutors will provide instruction, practice problems, and homework sheets to ensure that students have mastered the content standards for their previous grade level. We will do our best to ensure your child enters the next grade level with mastery of the material, confidence in themselves, and a can-do attitude!

We offer individualized and group tutoring for ACT exams.

For individual standardized test tutoring, we will thoroughly analyze your student’s initial exam score. We will look for patterns within each category and determine what specific topics they need additional support on. Rather than broadly covering the “math” section, we will focus on the specific areas within math that need improvement to ensure you are seeing improvement quickly.

For group standardized test tutoring, we will cover each exam section in-depth. Students will learn test taking strategies and will receive instruction on specific test content. They’ll receive homework assignments with lists of practice problems — each session they’ll practice what they’ve worked on with their tutor. We will continually offer progress checks in the form of graded practice tests; We use this information to continue adjusting course towards optimal improvement.

Summer is an excellent opportunity to get ahead academically. We are happy to help your student achieve their goals by facilitating accredited online academic programs.

If your student needs to recover credits, we can help you select an accredited online program to do so and ensure your student is understanding the material.

If your student is interested in getting ahead or graduating early, we can help your student through accredited online programs to earn extra credits in the summer.

*Our ability to provide this service is dependent on prior conversations with the students’ full-time school.

We can help your student earn college credits during the summer by offering CLEP exam preparation. These College Level Equivalency Program courses offer the same benefits as an AP course, without the yearlong commitment. Your students could spend a few weeks studying with us, take and pass a CLEP exam, and save thousands on college credits!

Designed to prevent “summer slip”, our drop-in tutoring will be available for students to keep practicing during the summer. These students do not need significant remediation and are testing at grade level. For parents who simply want to keep their child engaged with academics, drop-in tutoring packages are the perfect option.

Parents may purchase a “punch pass” allowing for a predetermined number of visits. We will have have 20 hours per week available.

Punchpasses are not tied to one specific student. They are redeemable for any child within one household. Quantity discounts available based on number of sessions purchased.

We also offer standard individual tutoring in the summer. We canwork with students on reading, math, writing, college essays, and more!
